REVIEW: Orion Blasters Lynx (My New Favorite Springer)

Показать описание
The Lynx: a unique 3D-printed short dart springer in a crazy compact bullpup form-factor. Designed by Dan over at Orion Blasters, this thing shoots half-lengths like laser beams, consistently hitting its target at over 200 FPS. I smile every time I pick this thing up!

Thank you to Ryan at SilverFox Industries for making me this absolute powerhouse of a blaster so beautifully printed on their Prusa farm! I'm really looking forward to getting out and playing games this summer, and this will definitely make the shortlist for loadout

Ryan from SilverFox here. For those who will inevitably ask, the filaments used are Prusament Azure Blue, Prusament Galaxy Black, and Atomic UV Reactive Neon Orange.

The Lynx was my first hobbyist grade blaster and it is phenomenal! The design is so well thought out and the accuracy was so shocking that I actually ended up getting a reflex sight to for it XD

I love the Lynx! It was the first fully 3D printed springer that I made and it works so well and looks brilliant. I'm glad to see that you like it too! 💜💛

I've had 3D prints from everyone in the business! Silver Fox are still the best without question.

Hey there! You've got a really informative channel. As someone new to the modding and custom blaster world I've got a request/suggestion.
It would help new people a lot if you mentioned the exact options chosen for the blasters you review. What kind of spring, which barrel, what kind of 'catch' it uses (I don't even know what that is!), etc
Thanks! your enthusiasm is infectious!

The Lynx is out of my budget, so I'm sticking with my AF Conquest Pro. Granted, there's never a review that doesn't make me not want a Lynx in my arsenal! The blue and orange is sooo beautiful on yours, and its ease of operation as well as power is even better!

One day I'll drop the stonks for one of my own~

Yup, knew it was going to be a winner two years ago when I had my hands on it at Ragnarock.

Took my Lynx, courtesy of the Foam Pro Shop team, to Atomic last month and was extremely pleased with it.

Glad you put the chrony numbers up because I was puzzled at your early claim in the video.

For those wondering, the Lynx easily hits 250 with a 10 kg spring load, decent seal, and longer scar-less barrel. With the scar installed (and a shorter barrel) it drops to around 235 in my experience.

Pleased to see enthusiasm. I love own a Lynx myself and I hope your shop offers support for it in the future.

Hey, I not the only one to figure that SLA SCARs are dope.

My only issue is with the painted springs and the aluminum guide barrel in the catch, the paint has been scraping off the inside of my SF25-TC and depositing on the o-ring. Same thing is happening with the edges of the aluminum guide barrel so I get aluminum flecks on there too. That's been most of my maintenance, just popping out the catch and plunger assembly to clean flakes of material out. That being said, it was a dream to build, easy to print the parts, and I used it at a game in San Jose recently (where I met Dan himself) and it was, as Luke said, incredibly accurate and powerful. Definitely picky about darts though, AF Pros are definitely its favorite.
