2023 Toms Offroad Rock & Roll Recap

Показать описание
Cruise along as the TOMS OFFROAD crew recaps the Rock and Roll 2023.
We started the Rock and Roll off right by enjoying a pint of TOMS OFFROAD x Walkabout Brewing Trail 76 Offroad Ale with our Bronco customers and friends the night before a day of cruising and wheeling.
There was a huge interest in the Redwood National Forest Cruise, a new destination this year, with over 40 Broncos traveling out through the historic town of Jacksonville, making their way through the beautiful Applegate Valley, rolling along the Redwood Hwy into California alongside the Smith River and through a section of the majestic old growth. Stopping at Crescent City on the Pacific Coast, Bronco owners got to choose their own adventure by either traveling back the same route, or by spending more time taking the ~6 mile one-lane gravel road detour straight through Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park.
A small group of Broncos that craved an off-road adventure hit the dirt on the McGrew Trail that same day. An almost 50-50 turnout of early Broncos to new Broncos, the group progressed through the trail with no issues or breakdowns, enjoying the scenery and history of what was once a wagon road for transporting miners and supplies.
Special this year was our one-time event Friday evening, a Grand Opening Gala for our new showroom. It was an evening to formally celebrate with some of our vendors and customers and to highlight the new space and Bronco products. The Broncast was present and did a special interview with Tom Wimmer and Walt Wimmer, speaking on the history of TOMS OFFROAD and what’s in store.
Saturday’s Show and Shine was held at a new location this year, providing plenty of space for all the Broncos, new and classic. Show and Shine vehicle awards went to Doug V. for Best in Show, Greg C. for Best Stock Bronco, John L. for Best Trail Bronco, Justin B. for Best Modified Bronco, and Richard C. for the Dave and Sandy Farthest Travel in a Bronco.
Special thanks to:
- Our Bronco customers, friends, and family for helping us make this another great Rock and Roll.
- The TOMS OFFROAD Crew and our contributors for all their hard work leading up to and during the event.
- Adam Gabriel for providing our Show and Shine musical performance.
- Jon Martin for providing our evening concert performance.
- To The Broncast Podcast for their daytime live entertainment, MCing, and for helping with the Dave and Sandy Loewen surprise.
- To Blanco Bronco Adventures, Derick and Monica, for your fundraising efforts for the Loewen’s Bronco history-in-the-making trip, and for working with us to provide one of the best surprises.
- To our attending vendors: Red Line Synthetic Oil, PSC, Painless Wiring, Hellwig Suspension and VIVA Chassis.
- To Walkabout Brewing Co. for hosting our Meet and Greet, and providing our Gala and Show and Shine refreshments.
- And to Hula Grill, All Smoked Out BBQ, Wine Country Caterers, and Kona Shaved Ice for feeding us all.
We’ll see you again next year!
