Mihoyo should fix this. I play on ps4 and I'm on UK server. I wanted to play on Asia because I had bad ping on uk but I can't without losing my save. They should create a share save server change for all platforms. With the amount of they money anything is possible. Hell they should make a FPS mode for ps4/ps5 users as well.

i did a dumb mistake and when i tried to play genshin impact on my ps5, i didnt know that it doesnt save on a differnt region, so my account was made with a europe server but i put the asian server on my ps5. This meant that i have to restart or just stick with genshin impact mobile. I'm kinda sad, because i was really hoping to play it on the ps5 but it's too much hassle to make a whole new ps account.

Gente, a los que quieren cambiar de servidor en ps4 deben crear un nuevo usuario de ps4, primero deben saber que si su UID de genshin empieza con: 6=America 7=Europa 8=Asia, al crear la cuenta pongan algun pais de esos continentes nombrados y les pondran los servers que mencione

in ps4 you can’t change your server cuz it’s based on the account location

On ps5 it isn’t showing me the option to change anything it doesn’t say “start” it brings me straight to the door.

I play Genshin on pc, but I downloaded it on my ps4 so my sister and I can play together. However, all my data is on an American server and my PSN is linked to Australia so it automatically set to Asia. Now, I will need to start all over again and so will my sister if we want to play together because I can’t make another psn because I don’t have another email to use. Hoyoverse needs to make this easier for PlayStation players

I played on mobile for a while and now I play on ps5 and I used to play on the American server but now I’m stuck on the Asian one. I hope they fix that

Oh well that is annoying.
I live in Asia but my NA friend who got me into it said I should sign up for the NA server. Only then did I realize after dealing with so much lag and loading issues and finally grinding to AR16 just to play with her that all my progress can’t be moved to the Asia server.
