It was less Labour winning, and more the Tories losing, their vote was split by Reform and the LibDems. Had Reform not stood, the Tories would have done far better.

The Tories sacked a lot of immigration officers so the backlog awaiting processing grew ever larger, and so needed to be Tory donors taking our tax money. The Tories promised to reduce immigration, but actually increased it significantly.
