Nice review, I actually got this figure from Pulse Yesterday and I really like him. I had passed on the 86 Blurr for a long time, but when I saw head sculpt and colors on the SG Blurr I knew I wanted it. The variant comic cover is nice, but it would have been better if Hasbro shipped it in a slip cover, but I can't complain because it did arrive undamaged. I'm in on all of these SG figures.

I just really like the coloring on this guy way more than the original. A lot less baby blue.

Here is a suggestion when comparing Shattered Glass to originals: Put a frame around one so it looks like a mirror with some deco coloring. I think I just had a display idea 🤓

Man I finally caved and now awaiting this fig. Saw some page scans of the book and loving the art. Can't wait to read the story. Sucks how they sent it. Really Hasbro can't go in on a bag and board on it.

Its shocking how much a different paint scheme makes a difference. He looks creepy good. I can picture Carmegeddon if he was on earth.

Great figure, I heard the writing for the IDW comics is a bit mixed & has fans divided.

When it comes to this mold, I still prefer the Takara Legends headmaster Blurr. ^^ better head sculp, better arms with shorter "front fins" under the fore arms and better wrist articulation. And the transformation is more fun, even if very close.

BUT with this Shattered glass Blurr... yeah I can see myself buying him. And it just seems to make sense with the different deco, one should have a slightly different transformation, thus justifying this mold's existence lol. I can dig it

Not to flood you with comments, but i actually wonder if Blurr's headsculpt was created with Shattered Glass in mind first, and 86 second. at least i'm hoping so. It's the only justification i can give hasbro. (of course whoever made it is still leagues better than i ever would be)
