On day 6 of our Staff Spotlight Series, we meet Brass Teaching Artist, Katie Carson!
In 2021, Katie graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a degree in music education and a concentration in jazz studies. She has played in various groups across Ohio and northern Kentucky. She is a trumpet player, organizer, and arranger with La Fórmula Music Productions, a multi-faceted group based in Cincinnati with offshoot ensembles that specialize in music from different Latin American countries.
