Pizza in Italy is suprisingly healthy. Usually I get pretty bloated eating any pizza including thin crust, but that wasn't an issue in italy

Fun fact: I was born and raised in Naples, as a kid, when McDonald started to spread around Italy, Naples saw the opening of many of them as well, with the years they all went bankrupt and closed down, one after the other, because people simply wouldn't go there (eating at a pizzeria or some other local places is cheaper and better). Now there are just a couple left in the entire city.

The pizza in Italy, especially the ones offered in Naples (hence Neapolitan) have nothing to mask, keeping it as pure as possible. It really shows that less is more.
