Chant of the Mystics: Rorate Caeli - Divine Gregorian Chant - Mystery of Christmas - Incarnation

Rorate Caeli is a moving Gregorian Chant Hymn, traditionally sung in the season of Advent before Christmas. In that time, the sacred rites are traditionally celebrated in a dark church, which is only illuminated by the light of candles. The chant sings about the spiritual night, in which humanity and every single soul is covered in: the separation from the spiritual sphere, the fallen state of blindness, evil and isolation. The singers prays in a repentant spirit for forgiveness and asks God to grant him the inner birth of light, life and truth: Christ in themselves. "If Christ were born in Bethlehem a thousand times and not in thee thyself; then art thou lost eternally." (Angelus Silesius)
