This is the first and only video-review of the Xperia ZL I've completely watched...
But you've forgot one USP in comparison with the Xperia Z, the infrared-sensor :(
And I wanted to see more of the notification led (now I only saw it with the Walkman-app)

I owned the Xperia ZL and I say it is an amazing phone, price is cheaper compare to the S3 and Xperia Z and HTC Butterfly. And all the functions are great and performance has been super. I don't think I'll be changing in a few years.
No differences in "real world performance" between this and other current flagships.

This is a quad core phone, if I said dual core anywhere in the review, it was a mistake. Same CPU as the Xperia Z.

I have used both. The speakers for the ZL both ear piece and speakers are much better on the ZL. The call quality is also superior on the ZL. I can only assume it's because the Z is waterproof and must use filters that don't allow the sound to go through as easily.

Same speaker between the Xperia Z and ZL but location is different: the back for the ZL and the side for the Z. I find the side location is often muffled by my hand.

The Xperia ZL has a glass front like all touchscreen smartphones. It's the Xperia Z that has glass front and back.

i moved from a samsung galaxy grand to the ZL.. oh boy. the difference is immense. for one, the form factor is superb. the display is somewhat inferior to the other flagship but i don't use my phone sideways. now that i move to the ZL, my smartphone life is totally "LAG FREE"... thanks sony.

It's mostly the blue subpixel burnout that's the problem... my gnexus is 19 months old and whenever I turn it into landscape mode, the side where the status bar usually is shows a faint bluish tinge from fresher blue subpixels less worn than the rest of the screen.

It's one of those things that you probably wouldn't notice it unless you were looking for it, but once you find it it's maddening.

Also S4 has serious audio problems on low-Z headphones (under 16ohms).
