I live in southern oregon . Alot of idiots burn pallets here up on the mountain roads. They never pick up the nails. I bought one of those rolling magnets that carpenters use to clean up job sites with. Filled up a five gallon bucket in two weekends, cashed it in and got four bucks.

I ran a Catalina in 3 demolition derbys...it was a beast. I gave $40 for it. The engine was so dirty that when i pulled the valve covers...the crud was the shape of the covers. Like a jello mold. Only had one burnt valve, despite that the rockers were encased in black, firm gunk. ran 5 gallons of diesel through to clean it after using a putty knife to remove over 10 pounds of firm crud under the valve covers.

I passed this rally driving over the Mt Hood. I had no idea what it was but I wanted to be part of it. I looked online but my googlefoo was lacking apparently. I have got to do this next year.

True story. I bought a Subaru Loyale 2:10 for $350 in hopes of going to the gambler 500 with it and I almost had it reliable enough to do so. But work would not allow the time off and I never got to go.... Hopefully soon I can ride with the L series convoy 2018 gambler might be in Washington where I live.
