Nice work. How long did you let that sit? A few hours, overnight?

I had a great looking 1980 Bird/Erving/Magic RC. Nicely centered, sharp corners....and had it in a screw down since 91. Came back altered. Going to try your method and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the great video. How long would you suggest to let it sit in the plates?

Hey Kurt 💙 just bought one of your kits from your UK ambassador 3rd down displays. Super excited for it to arrive, and already have a card in mind that i wanna work on. It’s a pokemon card, with a tiny little kink on the top edge (i think from pinching putting into a sleeve or something). I think this kind of technique could work well! Do you have any pointers? Or videos that you could guide me to? I know you’ve said in the past that pokemon cards can be tricky, but i want to give it a shot.

I’ve watched your content and commented in the past, you’re a legend, thank you for what you do 🙏

Are the two disc's flat or slightly concave? You do amazing work on these cards. I kept reading the comments and you posted the Amazon link. Thank you. Keep up the great work.

Kurt! I have a Marino rookie from my childhood that I kept in a screw down for 30 years. It’s similar to this Montana, except the “flattening” is much worse. What would you recommend for a card that has more than just corner flattening? Thanks Kurt!

When you say screw down, do you mean the ones that don't have the center Grove that the card sits in? I remember those thick screw downs where the card was literally squished between the 2 sides. I always used the smaller ones that had the spot that a card would sit in.

If you do something like this to a card and then send it for grading, will it comeback as altered?
