Maple Grove Boys Lacrosse Rolls Past Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids

The Maple Grove boys’ lacrosse team scored fourteen goals in the final three quarters and beat Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids 15-7 Wednesday night. Josh Steinkopf scored five goals and Rory Scanlon two while eight other Crimson players scored a goal apiece in the win. Tied 1-1 after a quarter the Crimson started to pull away by halftime, outscoring SLP/CR 5-2 in the second quarter. Maple Grove (4-0) remains unbeaten and hosts Eden Prairie Friday night.
