ART HeadAmp 6 PRO - Overview and Demo (Headphone Amp)

Показать описание
This video features the ART HeadAMP6 Pro Headphone Amplifier. The HeadAmp6 Pro is a SIX-CHANNEL stereo headphone amp. It also has a six channel AUX input section that can be used to employ what ART describes as the "More Me" feature. When using the "More Me" function, you can dial in more of a signal into a specific channel, right from the unit. No need to change headphone sends in your DAW or Mixer.

This video demos some of the features of the Head Amp 6 Pro with Sony headphones, Audio-Technica headphones, and Vic Firth Isolation headphones.

The Head Amp 6 Pro has 6 stereo headphone outputs on the front and 6 on the back. It includes XLR or 1/4" TRS Main Inputs and Main Thru ports.

The Head Amp 6 Pro is competitively priced and offers features not available in Headphone amps that cost twice as much!

Great review. Seeing you demo the mono buttons cleared up questions I had about aux sends. Thanks!

Great video, I just wanted to add to the "two headphones one channel" comment. It's not about the headphones being modern so much as it's about the Ohms of the cans. The lower the Ohms the less power it takes to power them; higher Ohms need more power. I understand the "modern" theory I would say headphones (cans) used for devices like phones, laptops etc. would be best in this situation due to their lower ohms generally rated for these "modern" devices. Higher Ohms are better suited for headphones that will have the ability to be used with some sort of DAC/amplifier for higher fidelity audio; generally associated with audiophile listening. Thanks for the great video and information!✌🏾

Great video, I just found it. Just a question. I understand the dedicated line from your guitar/bass to the aux on the back for the "more me" monitoring. My question will be how can I also bring the signal from the guitar to my mixer at the same time. This solution is great for rehearsal but how can I send two signals of my guitar to the Mixer ( I have a tascam 12) and to the HeadAmp at the same time. Just confused. thanks

Where's the input coming from, you didn't explain how you are supplying signal to the amp????

By far the BEST explanation on the internet on how to use the ART Headamp 6 PRO. I'm trying to figure out why my main to aux knob is operating in reverse. Getting "more me" turning toward the main. I've got outputs from my Focusrite interface going to the ART balanced main and my instrument going from the Focusrite output into the ART aux. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this please. Thanks!

For the "More me feature" what is the signal chain for the aux in of the guitar signal? If you are tracking, would it be from an output on your interface or do you split the signal from the live guitar to give him his own individual level? (I bought one of these units recently, thx)

Thanks for thus. I did not understand the connection of the mono jack for the "more me" Do I need to have to twon inputs of audio into the headphone amp to ba able to use that feature? As in have the two inserts from the aux out into the channel strip then also a mono jack from the guitar monitor so as to be able to use that feature. I probably misunderstood. Thanks in advance

Does it have "Talkback function"?

The way we use the ART Headamp 6 pro in our studio is...

Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 Auxiliary output 1 to ART Headamp 6 pro stereo Auxiliary 1(Back)

Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 Auxiliary output 2 to ART Headamp 6 pro stereo Auxiliary 2 (Back)
And so fourth.

This way when we're tracking a band, they each get their own headphone mix (which we creat in the StudioLive board)

Then we also creat a "complete mix" from the Presonus StudioLive 'Sub-mix' 1 and 2 sends to the ART Headamp 6 pro balanced main inputs (back) so the band could hear a rough mix in their headphones without having to leave the tracking room.

Hopes this helps someone.

how do you achieve stereo mix for individual channels? can it be done via the individual Aux In with TRS?

The output to amp is an output for the internal processing of the 11R not a direct out like the Mains.

Can this be plugged into a focusrite interface? Assuming i would just sent the audio output into the direct in and I'm good to go?

I know i'm late to the party, but, i just bought one of these and i can't figure out how to separate the 2 main mixes that connect in the back. I don't even know if it's possible. I would like to have two separate main mixes applied to the channels i choose. For example : AUX 1 + main mix right on channel 01, and AUX 2 + main mix left on channel 02. Is this possible ?? Thanks.
