This evening we talk Training & Race day Tips for our Broken Arrow Community.

This evening of insight and education will cover:
-Training and planning: how to structure your volume and intensity within the context of the build-up to Broken Arrow.
-Vertical gain: How much is enough, how much is too much, and how to adapt your training plans.
-Altitude and its effects at 6-9k feet along the Broken Arrow course.
-Fueling and hydration as they relate to the 26k/52k distances
And so much MORE!.

The Broken Arrow Virtual Series has been created in order to best prepare you for race day AND provide you with quality entertainment and education throughout the summer, we've joined forces with some of the top athletes, coaches and personalities in the trail and ultra community to design a six-part seminar series. All participants have either already run the Broken Arrow Skyrace, are slated to run the race this fall and/or make up our race operations team ... so they are definitely in the know!

It's great to finally hear someone mention the VK when discussing training protocols. It's difficult to sort things out based on an all-out hour effort that's only 3 miles. 5k training is built around a 15-20 minute effort and 60 minute training is based on running a Half. Thanks for this video.
