That is why I homeschool. Because my daughter TALKS A LOT! When I say that she talks a lot, it means that she makes observations about everything, then she shares what she saw, then she asks a gazillion questions about what she doesn't understand and then she registers it into her brain and then she changes scenarios and asks how something would react in that scenario and then she makes connections with other things and points at the similarities and differences between them. This is the literal pattern of her learning! And she is able to learn so much more and so much in depth because she has the space and freedom to do it in her own way! And I would not trade this for her sitting in a class and having others tell her what to do and how to learn!

And to the people who jump to conclusions upon reading "homeschool, " homeschooling doesn't make kids aloof, nor selfish or strange! On the contrary, my daughter is just 5 but she is amazingly confident and can carry out a conversation with any person and something that she absolutely loves! Also, she is the exact opposite of selfish, she is generous and loving towards not only her friends but everyone around her! She has her quirks but again, we all do!
