Not going to lie As someone who was bullied a lot as a child this made me outright cry. I love this woman so much.

“We don’t change... we take a gravel in the shell and we make a pearl... and we help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty” 😢I love her so much and that is beautiful.

I have no doubt in my mind that Pink's daughter will grow to be an intelligent, confident, talented, and kind young woman. When you have a mother like Pink to be your role model, there's no way she could end up anything less. And for the record, they are both incredibly beautiful people!

THE FACT THAT SHE MENTIONED MJ WHO WAS ONE OF THE MOST MISUNDERSTOOD AND JUDGED PEOPLE OUT THERE, JUST MADE ME LOVE HER EVEN MORE! SUCH AN INSPIRATIONAL AND POWERFUL WOMAN.

This right here, is iconic. I always love how P!nk preaches how you don't need to fit conventional beauty standards to be beautiful. But it's just sad that even 6 year olds have to worry about being bullied by how they look.

Showed my 8.5 yr old daughter this cause 1.she loves Pink. 2nd her "awkward" phase came a bit early. shes switched schools due to bullying. Shes been saying she looks like a boy and that shes ugly. Shes been real down on herself the last year especially. After i shaved my head a couple weeks ago and shes watched pinks speech, she has a much more healthy perspective when talking about herself. Thank you pink for creating 20 years of music that young girls can look up to and see a strong female who has opinions and has the courage to be different despite what the media sells to us as "cool"

She deserved it more than anyone else. She is real, amazing, can sing all genres, doesn't need auto tune, never starts drama, inspirational, everything you need in a singer

The fact that she wanted to PUBLICLY ADDRESS HER DAUGHTER vs... AN AWARD MEANT SO MUCH TO ME...I KNOW IT WILL FOREVER MEAN THE WORLD TO HER much respect to you as a MAMA FIRST AND A KICK ASS ARTIST SECONDLY!

'we help other people to change, so that they can see more kinds of beauty'. seriously, that line encompasses everything we should be as humans
