Today I had a GT in the stand for some repairs. Including a bottom bracket, new chain, and new cables. Everything was going well until I saw the non drive side bearing cup. Someone attempted to get this out and destroyed the cup so you couldn’t get a tool on it. That’s where the saw blade came in and some surgical precision to not screw up the threads in the shell.

I rode a couple of different GT bikes both were hybrid bikes. I thought they were very well made bikes and you got good components for the price.
