Hi Michael, Jan from Staffordshire U.K. ....
I haven't heard this track before but I can empathize with the words are just amazing Michael!!!!
My hometown hero's are my great uncle who fought in the second world war ....
He shared some stories of battles, one in particular that I have never forgotten....
The ship that he was on was sank at sea, a few of the men him included were left floating in the sea!!
They formed a circle tiring to keep each other safe, but they were being circled by sharks, they were getting picked off one by one!! After a few days the remaining few including my great uncle luckily were saved!!
My second hero was my was sent to Malaysia to do his national year's he was out there for!!
He was one of the many men that cleared parts of the jungle to make air strips for planes to be able to land
It was a very dangerous place! Both because of the Japanese Gurkhas and the wild animals to....
They are my hero's because of the things that they both lived through and survived!!!
