The guy in green should be a regular. Adam should have some time off.

Elon has been high performance his entire life. He knows what burnout is and how to stay out of it and/or deal with it.
The only thing Elon needs is for people to stay out of his way and give him some gratitude.

When you are a extreme workaholic and you are working sometimes burnout is just an afterthought.

Speaking as somebody in the 70-85 range for the last 3 years (no, not in the service industry) going back to normal isn’t possible.

You can buy a Rolex, but you cant buy time. Time with family and friends is much more precious. Not promoting laziness but this work work work culture is breaking families apart.

0:45 that's a good point - bc when you're great, you don't have time to show your work, but you have the capacity to outsource the work. so when you're not the directly appointed person with the task, you don't have the responsibility to market for it but you are responsible for outsourcing, scaling, and moving onto the next thing. so you're never really seen publicly for the work bc you're behind the scenes and when you have the ability to outsource and scale behind the scenes, that's a sign of being great.

Story: I know a guy who is 40 I’ve know him since I was about 15 he gave me my first job I’m 20 know still work with this guy we work in a restaurant and man since I’ve started working with him he works anywhere from 70-130 hours a week. gets there 7 am sometimes and leaves until 9 10 sometimes he stays until close. I don’t get him never calls of or misses work today I worked with him and was telling me that the day before Saturday he drank until 5 am and was there at 9 am today and stayed until 11:30 i close so I saw when he did and does this 1 x 2 times a week.
Then one day I asked “how do you not get tired” he looked at me and said” I know what I want and I’m going to sleep when I die” he said it in Spanish tho sounds a lil more badass

Pat is so right that your body will tell you to take a break. When I’m working 100+ hours a week and getting less than 5 hrs of sleep a night, my body will just all of the sudden collapse from exhaustion and I will sleep for 18 hours straight. Your body has mechanisms to stop you when you are pushing too hard.

Elon’s 120 hour work week is basically reading and writing emails, saying yes and no on projects or project updates. It’s not like he’s literally on the factory floor putting the Tesla cars together or building the rockets 🚀🙄

Every star has to dim now and then, just like everything around it.
Dark times are there to provide photosynthesis. The moment something grows from down time it hungers for light and reaches for it.
Like a photograph capturing images, the dark of your mind does the same.
The planted seed in the mind and what we experience from roots, bring "growing pains"..
The process reflection of light we see around us is the experiences we take in and expand on in fruits of labor.
This is what comes from energy, light and power taken into the body and carried to the mind..

Whoever looks at these comments, would you please tell us where Tom Zenner got that black shirt, as in, ask him?. It's awesome. Is it silk, is it satin? Thanks!
