This Project presents the design of a Verilog-based vending machine using Finite State Machine (FSM) methodology. The machine dispenses three products priced at Rs. 5, Rs. 10, and Rs. 20, accepting Rs. 5 and Rs. 10 coins, and includes features like returning change and transaction cancellation with a refund. The vending machine follows a state-based approach, where users select a product, insert coins, and receive the item if the amount is sufficient. If excess money is inserted, the machine returns change. A cancel option refunds the inserted amount. The system is implemented in Verilog HDL, simulated using Xilinx Vivado 2015.2, and tested via a testbench.The simulation confirms the correct functioning of product dispensing, change return, and cancellation refund. The FSM-based approach ensures efficient digital control, making this vending machine a practical automation solution.
