Growing up in the Philippines exposed me to a lot of Filipino Chinese dishes. From our neighborhood Pansiterya(noodle shop), to affordable and expensive restaurants everywhere. My family would always, always gather together over Sweet and Sour Pork, Pansit Con Lechon, Yangchow Fried Rice, Dim sums, etc. Because every serving is made delicious, cheap, and big for families to share.
So I was excited to visit Wee's Family Coffeeshop to try out their Zi Char dishes for sharing! They serve a bunch of different home cooked style Chinese Singaporean dishes and uses only good quality ingredients.
We were able to try the following:
1. Pork Knuckle
2. Fish Head Curry
3. Salted Egg Yolk Bittergourd
4. Mushroom Toufu
5. Sweet and Sour Pork
6. Yang Zhou Fried Rice
