The is300 vvti 2jz is not known for holding 500-600hp on stock internals in fact the norm for most vvti 2jzge engines is to cap at around 400-450hp at most. The non-vvti 2jzge which never came in the is300 on the other hand is known for making upwards of 700hp on the stock engine.

Mark I definitely recommend you look into the 3rd gen Honda Accord, it came in a 5 speed manual, hatchback and it comes with pop up head lights. Definitely try to push the car out more it’s probably the closest thing to a 86 anyone could find in the states. And the 3rd gen Honda Accord was only offered here in the states so that’s a flex

in my opinion the lexus sc300 or the toyota soarer (most likely sc300) is a great cheap sleeper/tuner daily type car and its also very beutifull

All great cars and don’t get me wrong they are very affordable for 95% of people but some of these are not under 5k. The FB is about 7k CAD the NA and NB Miata are around 10K CAD and the Bugeyes are like 8K CAD and I’ve seen some EG6s for almost 20K USD which is just mental. Still all affordable so still a great list
