The issue for Brooklyn is if they don't win a chip with those two and it's becoming more likely to happen is that it will be extremely difficult in the future to land top talent to go play there. It's not weather friendly. It's not tax friendly and then you lost miserably twice acquiring too talent albeit the first big three was way too old when they got there but kd and kyrie were not. I don't see how Brooklyn escapes this narrative if it loses kd and kyrie this year and no chip was won. Winning matters to help attract talent to go there. Consistency helps attract talent to go there.

I dunno, cuz KD was drafted when they were the Sonics and loved being in Seattle and connecting to those people. I feel like he only stayed with the Thunder as long as he did cuz that max deal and being loyal. Plus they added some good pieces. I don't think KD enjoyed being in Oklahoma that much.

Funny how the Nets could lose Harden, KD, and Kyrie in a matter of a few months. Even if they get a lot of value out of these trades, they won't be getting any superstar for sure. They're going from 3 superstars to 0 superstars. There aren't that many superstars out there, and the Nets had 3 of them. On paper it seemed great, but Kyrie is nuts, Harden is fat, and Nash can't coach. KD can only do so much.
