Is Arms Control Still A National Security Priority?

Senior Fellow Michael O'Hanlon, director of reseach for the Foreign Policy program at Brookings, explains why arms control must continue to be a national security priority for U.S. presidents, despite improvements, such as an unofficial moratorium on nuclear testing. O'Hanlon states that future talks on arms control provide an opportunity for other states to reduce their nuclear arsenal and prevent the threat of proliferation.
