It'd be extra cool if Chief Osceola was a scholarship that pulled a kid from one of the poor reservations that'd be truly life changing.

A Seminole warrior killed in battle is a legend remembered forever. A gator killed in battle becomes a pair of boots and a belt

I love how every rider completely owns the scene of that stadium. Zero intimidation, zero question, the rider and horse truly are in character…. They survey the crowd, the field and everyone there feels the intimidation. That is their field; their land, their time. Almost as if Osceola is saying, “this is my land. Who are you and why are you here”. Much respect for such an amazing display and tribute to the tribe, every single time.

I'm a Volunteer. My sister is a Seminole (at least, by choice of university). Love the story of the Seminole tradition!

I know I’m late to this video but by far the most badass entrance in all of sports and awesome that’s it’s not considered offensive. Why doesn’t a tribe member take the role? I’m just curious

Did y’all watch the damn video? The Seminole tribe fully supports FSU. It is not a mockery it is a tribute to the great people of the Florida Seminole tribe. Yes there was bad history with the native Americans but this is not an insult get off your high horse and GO NOLES!

I always loved this entrance but I always thought they got a real Native American to do this. I'm not sure what to think no tbh. But if they are ok with it I am too.

Lets not get all SJW on here. The Seminole tribe has authorized and condones the mascot of FSU as well as the ceremony. They are showing respect for the tribe and give their name prominence and let it not fade away into the footnotes of history like other Native tribes. Seriously, a bunch of triggered people getting mad at people for try to show respect and honor a battle scarred folk and one of their revered leaders, ridiculous.

Applaud the Seminole Tribe and Florida State for not caving to the liberal mob by getting rid of this. Arguably THE BEST tradition in all sports!
