I was today years old when I learned there was a whole love story behind all the songs.
I remember playing Sonic R on Sonic Gems Collection on the family's Wii. I recently started to listen to these songs again and they're genuinely amazing songs and it makes me even more nostalgic to when I was like 7-10 yrs and didn't even know there was more behind it.
I wish I could relive those memories. I feel it rather sad that I, some random dude not even done with high school already misses his own past.
Sonic was better back then.

2:34, that freaking part right there to me is the most beautiful section in the entire series besides Diamond Dust Zone act 1 at 34 seconds :)

I love how the title of the song is taken from the lyrics of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." That alone just makes listening to it more satisfying and refreshing when it comes to the good times for when we were babies where we just woke up without a care and had room service 24/7 for when we cried or used our stubby little hands to point at something specific. Good times...
