Happy Birthday Usagi! Sailor moon was the first anime I watched along with dragon ball z and pokemon. I've just finished binge watching the ENTIRE original anime throughout the month of june. Sure I would've chosen the reboot sailor moon crystal for it being true to the manga, but the original one will always be my favorite.

This particular transformation animation is burned in my mind. I was a very young teenager when this came out in the 90s and I watched it because the girls were cute and feminine and "Japanese animation" started to interest me. Strong fighting men, robots and beautiful and/or cute girls.
Then I watched Akira and Ninja Scroll... oof.

I remember in high school watching this whole show on your site. I would watch it every single day after school for the entire school year in 11th grade. Now with the news of crystal / cosmos finally about to end this summer I'm doing the same as an adult with the remake. So many memories, I'll cherish this show forever. 2017 was a year that changed me and this show was a big part of it.
