Top 10 Lego Games

LEGO made its jump into video games almost 30 years ago, with LEGO Build It on the SEGA Pico. Since then, games framed around the colorful Danish bricks and their iconic minifigures have practically become a genre of their own - in no small part thanks to Traveler’s Tales’ addictive approach to action-platforming, or the many pop-culture properties that have since been LEGO-fied. It wasn’t easy to narrow it down, but here are our Top 10 LEGO games of all time… so far.

I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen a Lego Power Rangers. With the amount of all the different Rangers and Villains you could use, that roster would be insane and I'm sure it would be a pure power trip.

Lego pirates of the Caribbean and undercover were my jam!

Honorable Mention: Lego Dimensions. It was as fun as other entries on the list. Additional perks included voice acting sometimes by the original actors, music and scoring that surprised at every turn. It was a pleasant surprise when Wonder Woman first takes off and her '77 theme starts. But the best part is how characters interacted with each other. Like Doc Brown mistaking Scooby for Einstein. Or Gandalf and Dumbledore trying to persuade the Wiked Witch of the West into a friendlier line of work. Batman assuming Legend of Chima characters are DC counterparts. And best for several Whovians a Doctor who regenerated into all 12 incarnations. TT really put their all into this game. A shame the Toys to Life bubble was about to burst, but Lego Dimensions left it all on the field.

Lego dimensions was definitely more interactive, and the game mechanics were special and unique. Hoped it would at least be in top 3, let alone not in at all.
