3 Legged Thing Ball Head w/ Monopod 'feet'. Airhed neo 2.0, DocZ2 foot stabilizer.Did I need these?

Seems like there is always a change in plans. First plan was to use the Alan 2.0 monopod by 3 Legged Thing as a standalone. Quickly decided a ball head was essential since I'm using them on ALL my tripods and monopods... But what about the stabilizer foot? May not have needed that, but you don't really know until you try. I think this Christmas tree is fully decorated now! Any further ideas?
