This is a really good replacement for STM8 micros. Also is good to have a cheap microcontroller with good documentation and support.

I have an MSPM0L launchpad but it is challenging to start with for a beginner as no tuts are available, eventually ended up buying NUCLEO-C031C6 and STM32C0 chips to make a prototype of my product.

The thermistor idea you mentioned- embedding the mcu with a thermistor, using mcu to extract temperature data via i2c- I would like to see a tutorial on that. I think you would need external eprom for a look up table.

Great to see TI making its debut to the ARM based microcontrollers. Can't wait to tinker around with it. How do I buy one in India?

More people need to use terms correctly.

A _microcontroller_ example, is the raspberry pi rp2040 chip for 70 or 80 cents each.

The second it comes with a PCB board pre-assembled with other components, is now a _microprocessor._

A great documentation helps to build reliable products using the chip.

Honestly, I have dozens of different development boards, some of which I haven't even had a chance to plug in. The last thing I need is yet another brand new development board, so please don't send me one. Still, it looks interesting. TI has always been a pretty competitive and trustworthy company.

I would like to make a child's programmable robot kit that sells for under $20. The low cost MCU makes this possible.
