Good idea with that cardboard under the raised box! Root will go right though it into the ground for water later in the season. 👍

When you said you were adding sticks to help fill the space, I was expecting the entire bottom to be loaded with branches. All you had were a few pieces of brush. lol All the leaves will be good for attracting worms and once compressed with soil, they will also create a weed barrier for a while.

It appears to be a quality product. I have raised beds made with wood. They are showing their age. I’ve considered replacing them with smaller metal beds. I will look into these.
