I started my first bullet journal this year, too, and even though I'm an artist, yours is still much more decorative than mine! I went crazy with lines in the beginning and so now I'm just trying to keep it as minimal as possible, and I'll decorate it with colored markers and gel pens. Btw your calligraphy is SO lovely! You aren't giving yourself as much credit creatively as you deserve 😉

I also got the white uniball pen and its quality really varies depending on the medium beneath it! Maybe try another black pen as a base:)

I somehow enjoy writing cards for birthdays or other special events. But somehow I also find them quite unnecessary. I only keep the bare minimum of the ones I received, but I don’t see the sense of keeping an ugly card with a standard text in it. But I always keep the ones from my closest ones, because they write sometimes such incredible stuff, and I love to read them again (when I’m sad or just in a bad mood) and especially when the cards are very pretty. It gives me even some inspiration where I can find pretty cards 😄 I don’t know if this is weird or not. 😄

ps: I started with this quite early, I’ve thrown away so so many cards, because I haven’t read them in such a long time, but I sorted them out, and I’ve found my last card from my grandma before she passed away. it’s such a personal gift, which was only meant for you.. makes me quite sentimental too..

Thanks you for sharing your bullet journal inspiration. I enjoyed watching. One suggestion: try using an overhead light source. The light source you're using (I'm guessing a window from the right) is making shadows and it's not very bright. You video is good, this just might make it even better.

Your bujo looks great, very functional! I really liked my bujo when I was still studying, it was so useful but also fun. I did that for 3 or 4 years but I got really lazy with time. I just got too tired of doing the monthly calendar, writing dates, doing layouts etc. Now I just use the Traveler’s Notebook. The Uniball Signo white gel pen is actually one of the best ones out there. Don’t get the Sakura ones, they are very watery and don’t look as bright as the Signo! Can you please list your Tombow brush pen colors? :) Once you get into the planner/bujo community, you get super addicted to stationery lol.
