Naftali Bennett became Israel’s new Prime Minister after defeating Benjamin Netanyahu with a close 60 to 59 votes.
According Nayyera Haq, “This new outlook is looking to be positive and negative at the same time. So, it’s positive for Israeli’s because they are actually looking forward to governing. It’s been two years and five elections since they have been able to move forward as a country.”
The negative aspect of this new administration is that it may be similar to a Trump-style leadership for Palestine. The former Prime Minister Netanyahu will stay engaged in Israel politics with a blog, and some guess he may make a return.
