Without this comparison, I wouldn't know how fast Yelan is. There wasn't a character to compare to, there was no context to her speed. She's FAST!

Lynette is also a free four star, and Yelan is a limited five star, so clearly there’s would be a difference in kit. It’s always nice to see a comparison, though!

I just got Yelan earlier and I must say, as a new player having her and the Wanderer guy, exploring the map and collecting stuff is a breeze.
Glad I grinded the shiz out of that last event.

To be honest, no developer did say that exploration will be easier with Lynette. Sure, she launches after her small run but that's about it.

This makes sense because taller characters in the game are faster than shorter characters

But it's pretty fun for f2p to get Lynette for free also if she had equal or better run than yelan it wouldn't be fair for people who pulled yelan for overworld exploration

Im so glad I have them along with Sayu and Kirara. Rarely run out of stamina. Mining's gotten faster and so is collecting crystal cores. Im really zooming now. Unlocking waypoints are a breeze. Exploring on land is easy until Fontaine decided to bury half of itself in water.

My team is now comprised of Yelan, Lynette, Sayu, and 1 free slot. Those three can cycle sprint without using any stamina. The free slot if i want to cross water outside Fontaine, I use Ayaka mainly, other than that, I usually use Kazuha.
