To be fair, sleeping does nothing besides kill specific mobs, stop them spawning on surface, getting items from your cat and skipping storms, it doesnt even really forward time, nothing smelts faster your hungers the same everythings in the same exact place tics dont go forward, anything automated is still in the same exact state you left it

Tip: click a bed then get out of it. You don’t fully sleep so it’s still night but phantoms don’t spawn for another 3 days

If you enter and immediatly leave the bed, phantoms wont spawn, but you didnt skip the night

You dont have to sleep to stop the Phantoms From spawning just klick at the bed and Instantly stand up and the Phantoms will stop spawning
