Sony Xperia T Unboxing

So here it is!! the Sony Xperia T

I was looking at this the other day while in my local O2 store browsing at new stuff thats out. had me impressed, but with it being locked up on display, I could not see it fully. so i'm curious as to how the back looked, so thanks for showing off this handset Sam. Sadly now you have confirmed that the battery is non-removable, i would pass on this knowing that. It doe's look very attractive now this phone does not have that ugly band on the front like the other models.

Specs are not bad, it's the same CPU that is running the HTC One X and Galaxy S3 over in America :) the Snapdragon S4 is a beast.

Build quality is very good, solid but also annoying as it attracts dust worse than a vacuum...

But I will be doing a video of me giving my thoughts on it, Just not a normal style review from what I have done in the past.

Hey Sam, the Bravia Engine isn't actually as gimmicky as it sounds! :) Use two of the same phones next to each other and youll see the difference if one is off and one is on! :) Being a reviewer you should see it cause you need to look for it, better saturation, deeper blacks and its slightly sharper :)

It is a software gimmick, I have had the Bravia engine running on an Orange Monte Carlo, It gives a deeper colour to some e.g orange and yellow but it made the blues and darker greens flare a little bit.

The blacks are not darker, it just lightens up the things around it to give that perceived idea that it is darker, it is smart but eats more batter than it's worth (imo)

It's nothing likt the real Bravia engine that is in Sony's TV's ;)

Hi Sam, that looks like one neat little phone. I presume being a Sony, the build quality is solid?
Shame the specs are a bit wanting, that's been Sony's problem for a couple of years now.
If the "Odin" Rumors are true, then it looks as if they're going to address that problem fairly shortly though. It would be nice to see a great phone, design & specs, from Sony once again.

It's good, but they go overboard with the software tweaks in some parts but some are very nice :)

How so ? it's actually in the perfect place for use with the thumb.

It's one of the better ideas that Sony had with the handset :)

The Sony has a more solid build to it, it feels more robust.

But the GS3 is the better of both to me

Wish this phone had an IPS screen(for better viewing angles and color reproduction) and a bigger(also removable) battery, would have been better than the gs3 for me since I like its design and of course, the camera.

Well techincally it was Distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer / Columbia Pictures depending on what part of the world you are from ;)

Columbia Pictures is owned by Sony Pictures but is not run by them, if you want to get even more technical that is ;)

My orignal comment was a joke at the amount Nokia pay for there phones to be in movies.

Yeah, but when they announced it they said they were going fully Sony, having both the Sony and then that logo is just confusing and people will keep calling them SE over just Sony
