Unlike some other password managers, 1Password was never truly breached even though there were attempts. But what makes 1Password secure? Just like any other top password manager it relies on high-level encryption. It scrambles your stored data into an unreadable string of characters. In addition to that, 1Password has a 34-symbol Secret Key, which is stored on devices you've used to sign in to your account. It creates an additional protection layer from intruders by adding another login step besides your password.

1Password covers all the essentials. Looking at the password generator, it’s quite standard. In addition to creating a strong password in a few seconds, there is an additional option of a passphrase, which is useful when you need a password that is easy to remember.

🗂️ Multiple Vaults
Multiple Vaults allows me to organize all of my sensitive information instead of just keeping it in one lump. It also makes it easier to share if I need to, as I can share multiple folders and vaults at once instead of doing them one by one.

🔦 Watchtower
This feature keeps you reminded if it detects any issues. It might sound annoying but it only keeps you updated on everything that might go wrong, from weak passwords to compromised log-ins.

✈️ Travel Mode
Not all the information is travel-safe, but I can mark which vaults are. Let’s say I go to Mexico for a couple of days, so the vaults that are not travel-safe will be locked meanwhile.

Great video ! Once you import Google password manager info into 1password, do you just keep Google pass mngr or do you delete the program ? I also have Avira Password manager. Should I get rid of that ? Does having more than one create an issue ?

Does anyone know if there are any password managers out there that feature the the absolute basic most functionality of showing creation date and modification date attributes directly on the card for all device? Like, why are there all these password managers out there with the gall to lock you into a crippling dependency with a subscription model, but lack bedrock management features showing when a password string was entered or modified? In many cases, I don't want my password manager even associating the password with the purpose. I just want to look it up by the most recent notification.
