Kids act like kids. Catherine is a great mother and is known for her ability to handle her kids, as well as ANY OTHER situation with diplomacy and in a regal manner. She would have handled it without Camilla's direction and I'm sure Camilla knew that, and still took the opportunity to put Catherine in her place.
