Winbag | inflatable air shim

Показать описание
The winbag is made from a fibre reinforced material making it very tough and durable. It is 2mm thick when deflated meaning it can be pushed into the smallest of gaps. Once inserted it can be inflated up to 50mm (two inches). Deflating the win bag is simple and can be done at the press of a button. This inflatable shim, or inflatable wedge is very useful for window fitters, kitchen installers and a whole host of other jobs.

You have come up with some great ideas if how to use this winbag. We have been using them for years locksmithing and to gain entry without leaving marks. Also good to use on locked cars.

They are very handy when working on your own. I use mine to lift when I am fitting my oak doors, no chance of the veneer being pulled of like it would with a wedge or lifting bar. The valves will fill with dust over the years so they need to be washed out and oiled when they stop working. Also they are very easy to loose. They where banned from sale at one time as scrotes used to force open the tops of car doors so that they could get a slim Jim in and pull on the latches.

Very handy those ones are. Car thieves love them as well :-)

Superb video and demo once again.
I do think however it's a bit pricey, even for the size, maybe if it was a twin pack with a slightly larger or smaller second one then £15 seems fair. Maybe B&Q might have an offer on when its first on sale. Also what is the material actually made out of? It seems amazing for lifting doors slightly! But door corners or splinters under the door could potentially burst it?

Any suggestions on replacing the pump and valve assembly with a Schrader valve? Would be nice to inflate it using compressed air or one of those cordless tyre inflators.

over here i have seen tow truck driver's use something like this to a door of a car to get a long metal rod in to the door lock, but to use this for home thing is better.

wonder why they haven't adapted these for use on vehicles. maybe because of the liklihood of it puncturing. but still think it might be a good idea for changing wheels

An old girlfriend had two of these in her bra, after inflating both she looked like Beth from The Bounty Hunter lol

This will be useful to help me lift and level galvanised steel cages, they are available on Ebay UK

My have to get one of these for the wife, fed up with having to lift the furniture so she can put the roller coaster protectors under the wheels each time she decides to change the room around....plus I can use it sometimes...if she lets me😄😄😄

The hose being longer would make them have even more uses.

i saw an AA guy using something similar to get into a car, two slid into the door seal either side of the corner of the door and then a fishing expedition with the straightened out coat hanger for the door handle
