I loved this video. I'm the oldest of the millennials but I relate to so much of what you said. I started vlogging years ago because I liked sharing things, I liked talking to people, and always felt like there was someone there listening to me. Even now, in my 2.0 version, numbers are not what they used to be but there's always someone there to watch, to listen to what I have to say. Keep making videos girl!

Ok, I know you weren't trying to inspire anyone to start a youtube channel but here we are... Every now and then I have to drop to my knees, and thank the algorithm gods for bringing me a video I would not otherwise have found... And today is one of those days... What a beautiful soul you are... Thank You for just being here and being you... I'm not Gen Z... more like Gen X... My first video on Youtube is dated November 2008... in 15 years it's had like 16 views.... for me It was a diary documenting thing my my divorce... my then wife left with our 10 day old daughter and moved back to Nebraska... I made videos to document everything that came after and keep my sanity... Which is why it doesn't bother me that no one's ever watched them... I'm a photographer, I photograph people. I want to start a photography YouTube channel.But I don't want it to be like all the other photographer youtube channels... I want it to be more like a diary or a vlog... and you just reminded me that is still possible... I remember a time when YouTube was not a competition. And everyone was not so hyper focused on making money. Honestly, at that time... (2005-6-7-8) the only channels that I subscribed to were channels like yours. Just someone sitting and talking about their life, goals, dreams, or just the crappy day they had at work... many just needed to vent... and be heard... even if no one was watching... You felt a genuine connection with another human being who was just like you and trying to get through their day... I'm nearly in tears remembering this... Thank You...
