Are there any good bikes at Walmart in 2024? In this video I go to the bicycle section at Walmart and find some good mountain bikes among the typical cheap low quality Walmart bikes. If you want a good quality beginner mountain bike, you can get one at Walmart now. There are some good hardtail 27.5 and 29er mountain bikes in stock at my local Walmart store at really good prices.

I walked in my local Walmart this summer and got the new huffy rock creek 29, changed the tires to the Kenda sport nevegal 29 2 20, also changed the grips and the pedals to a real good brand.

I bought a Ozark Trail Ridge and have upgraded the Pedals, Saddle, Grips, planning on upgrading the Fork next. I highly recommend that bike for anyone starting out. 🤘🏻

I have the Ridge and the Vibe.

I recommend both bikes with the caveat that you check them out before riding.
Most are assembled by vendors that either don’t know what a bicycle is or don’t care.

But once I got them inspected and adjusted for function and adjusted to fit me, I’ve had no issues.

I did change the seats and grips for personal preference on both, and the pedals on the vibe.

I don’t like the shifter/brake on the vibe and will be upgrading it soon to a micro shift.
It functions as supposed to and hasn’t failed, I just prefer the upgrade.

The Ridge felt like it was designed to fit me personally. The Vibe took a little adjustment to get it to my liking.

Air forks will be added in the future, but I’ve been fine with the factory forks for now.

These are “good” bikes.

You can watch YouTube videos of people reviewing and riding bikes while wishing you had $5-10k to buy one…..
Or you can get one of these and enjoy riding.

👍😎

I’m considering the Ridge M2. Just have to wait until after we get back from our summer vacations to save up the money for one. I’ll probably end up selling my cheap Nishiki on fb to help lower the price of one. Sucks that I didn’t do my proper research on bikes a year ago when I paid $200 on the used market for this Nishiki comfort bike.

I got the ozark trail ridge as a base to build an ebike and it blew my mind how good it was for the price. It's honestly specked the same as my 2015 trek marlin 7 was except cable pulled discs. My friend picked up the 29inch axum to replace his old Cannondale and we rode in on a basic trail and honestly we all thought it was a great bike for the money except we don't trust the fork so he's gonna put rock shox judy silvers on it

Couldn’t find any Ozarks in my local Walmart with disc brakes so settled on the Axum Comp and love it, thing can take some abuse

My best friend has a Kent Flexor. I recently swapped out it's front shifter cable in one of my videos. He doesn't tail ride. So the bike needs street tires

I have a question for anyone who’s knowledgeable on Bikes and different bike types, I recently got a mountain bike ( for context it’s a 26’ Huffy Trail Bike I believe, it was chosen kinda randomly at Walmart and my dad who drove me to get it was rushing me so i couldn’t Fully check everything out ) I just needed A Bike, because I was planning on doing DoorDash on my bike as a lil side hustle and was told a mountain bike would be better just in case I have to go up hills or something around the city. But now I’m not sure whether to keep it or save for a BMX bike instead because BMX bikes are supposed to be faster or at least potentially faster on paved roads ( Mountain bikes cap out at like 12 mph while BMX bikes are more capable of going closer to 15-20+ from what I’ve looked up ) or maybe get a completely different bike does anyone know what type of bike would be comfortable and a good balance to use for both commuting and deliveries but also be as fast as possible, or should I be fine with the one I ended up with

Is the 24-inch ozark trail glide any good? It looked pretty decent for $198, but I don't know much about bikes
