The Donner Vowel Wah Pedal is not only a wah wah pedal but also a volume swell pedal.

Buy the gear I use:

I'm going to record a song in my home studio using this pedal :)

Donner was kind enough to reach out to me and provide me with this pedal to review. As I mentioned, It's not only a wah wah pedal but also a volume swell. And the tone is actually really good. I'm pretty impressed with the sound of this pedal. I think it has a really good sound and it's up there with some of the best wahs I've heard. But it's also super cheap. And it has the volume swell which is really handy. And it's tiny. It's a very high value pedal. It offers enough high end, and it's fun to use. Plus it's tiny. Everyone loves tiny things/

For the money there isn't a better wah wah pedal in my opinion. And I have an RMC real mccoy wah, which is one of the best made.

That is so nice for you, that you get to demo free gear.
I had two gorilla amps when I was young, and they both disappeared, as did many of my things throughout my life
Thankyou for sharing.

Dude. Mark that amp and mic placement on the floor with tape. That was a cool tone.

I have an analogue wah pedal that is very unique in the way it works - basically it’s just a kick drum with a baby inside. It’s not that great tbh, it runs off breast milk not 9v, I got it off the dark web

Also I love the jam you made, so groovy like the stuff I write

Hey,

So I'm browsing the interwebs like I do nerding out about tape machines and I found one you might take interest in. In your comparison vids it was clear that the MT44 was a favorite for it's saturation and other characteristics and I agree from what I've heard. That and the Tascam 688 are my first choices to acquire this year....

Then I found one I hadn't seen/heard before which is the Tascam 238 Syncaset. Although I haven't had any of these units in my presence the character translates through monitors all the same. The unit mentioned is incredible in terms of fidelity. The MT44 is still up there but it's a whole different ball game from what I can tell and although it's a bit pricey you might wanna check it out.

Is this the most colour co-ordinated you've been in one of these videos?

Except for unwanted noise, or other electrical interference, I don't get why price is an issue with effects. Consider the quality of the effects that The Beatles, or Hendrix used. Soundwise, an inexpensive, modern effect is light years ahead of what they had. If you can't find "your sound" on the cheap, you probably don't know what your sound is.

Truth be told, the only weakness many inexpensive pedals DO have is they aren't as rugged as the pricey ones.

Dude is that a gorilla amp you’re playing thru? Gawddam you’re brave and making a youtube, O wait you changed to a fender amp huh, ok i guess i was just gonna give you props for having such balls 🏀 this day and age of boutique everything, anyway still thumbs up still gonna sub and thank you for the review looks like I’m gonna get a donner or be a goner lol, btw I have a pedal from a company called sonic cake and it’s the exact same pedal, except it’s a passive expression/vol pedal, I use it as a pitch shifter coming from my hx stomp made of plastic same shape same size same everything cept it’s a brownish color, but great review

Actually; notably;
now that I recall; there was a Mike Raab across the street from my grandma's house on larter ave.
Thankyou again for sharing:
I am wondering about the size for my clumsy style, but I am considering looking at one if I can.

Throwback to:

"why i DONT use a pedalboard."
"why I think pedalboards are stupid"

Hahaha, great to see people changing for the better and being more open to trying stuff, love it!

I've had this pedal for 2 years now. Every time I take it out I'm hoping that I missed something because it's been a huge disappointment overall. The wah doesn't do anything; it's literally less effective at controlling frequency than my telecaster's tone knob, and there is no noticeable change with the different modes. The volume side also sucks, but I don't use volume pedals. If I did though, I wouldn't use this one because even with the min volume at zero, it's not completely quiet.

I was hoping someone had a mod to make it work, but I couldn't find anything.

At the end of the day, if you're considering buying this. DON'T!!
