How to Paint Stormraven

A painting and magnetization tutorial of the Blood Angels Stormraven for Warhammer 40k.

My first storm raven was death company based so it was just black and red, but i recently bought a second storm raven and didnt have a clue where to start with painting it, thank you very much for this video as its helped me get started :D

@Callum1143 - I used a flat red from Michael's craft store... no primer, although white would have helped make it a brighter red (which I would have preferred). Try to find a flat red, not something glossy. Army painter makes a great one, but its a bit expensive.

I'd pick something like warpstone glow or whatever colour you're doing the edge highlighting with

Any paint job can be easy if you just do a basecoat of a single color and paint metallic bits like you said. Many people just do the three color flat minimum but to get a nice variation of colors it takes quite a bit of layering. In the end its all about the amount of work you want to put into it. Yea it seems easy but Blood Angels are not easy if you really work it.

i've come up with the magnetization in a bit different way (bigger mags and without drilling).
hm, airbrushing seems to be the way to go for all kinds of vehicles...just great!
anyways, i did the same with my landing gear - one is with the feet and one without ;)

You said you sprayed it red, was it primed black or white before hand? Also, what red did you use, from what brand?

i hate the way you can paint blood angles stuff red and put metalic bits in it seems easer than other figers dosent it
