This is the version of Silent Night which is sung in the Church of Scotland. It is the version I grew up with. It is still in CH4, the current C of S hymnary, thank goodness. Brings back memories of school, Sunday school, Maw and Da and wonderful Christmas memories of the 50s and 60s.

Lovely version. This was the one whcih apperared in Church Hymnary )1927-9), a Hymnary of the Church of Scotland. Sso I suppose wt was the Socttich Version. Willie Grant, Buenos Aires Argentina.
