Shocking moment: Meerkat on head!

We traveled deep into the Botswana desert to see the meerkats for our first time. We were told if we lay in the dirt next to their holes they will sometimes climb on top of you to get a better view as they look out for lions! “Uhhh so should we also be on the watch out for lions??” 😅 We we’re laying in the dirt for almost an hour when finally this magical moment happened!! Manilla felt so special that the meerkat chose to trust him and Manilla feeling extra special made my mommy heart overflow
