Yeah this is why you shouldn't let people with no tactical coherence write lore like this. I will also note that the frame errors aren't really a problem in starwars seeing as one could view a bolt similar to something light lightening. You're seeing an after image of the projectile travel, and in some cases this can lead to you seeing the impacts light and the light of the projectile travel simultaneously. Or in weird succession.

It could be argued it would be heavily dependent on the viewing and the position.

If I remember correctly, you can actually see....or rather NOT see some of the blaster bolts in the Star Wars The Clone Wars Episode where Rex, Bly, Anakin, Ahsoka and Ayla Secura infiltrate a Sepratist Base to steal a shuttle. It's that Episode with those lemur pacifist species and this weapon that doesn't hurt Droids, only organic material
