I saved up and bought one of his beautiful tweed blazers with the leather buttons about ten years ago. If I could, I’d dress in Ralph Lauren every day.

What I admired about him is that he like Calvin Klein were able to keep their "name" and that's saying alot. He also continued where Halston & Yves St. Laurent left off in the sense that he had people of color in his fashions. Even today no African American Male Model can say they had the same success that Tyson Beckford had with him. He never had problems with drugs or alcohol, and he stayed married to his wife and in the arts, that's a miracle in itself.

I've been wearing RL, almost exclusively, since 1983. Periodically, I'd purge everything and embrace some new trendy thing, but within a year or so, I'd regret it. Eventually, I learned my lesson. Now, at 60, I still wear mostly RL... or, at the very least, brands that emulate his classic style. What a legend... thank God for Ralph Lauren.

I used to love Ralph Lauren, it was my favorite brand for decades and I still cherish my old, high-quality, RL items. But, the brand dropped its tradition of high-quality fabrics and materials in the last decade or so. The most important criterion for my wardrobe choices is fabric/material, each item must be made of natural-fiber, breathable fibers, or I just pass it over, even if I love the look of it. I have severe skin allergies to plastics, which can develop with repeated exposure. I can’t even wear synthetic blends and I hate Spandex, even 1% causes skin rashes, makes clothes impossible to iron well and causes a battle getting dressed and undressed. I still wear my old RL knit blazers in 100% cotton, for example, but won’t buy new ones because they’re at least part polyester. I don’t mind paying the premium for better fabrics, so bring back your legendary quality, Mr. Lauren!

I'm not rich but one year for my birthday I treated myself to a Ralph lauren purse black & white .It is so wonderful, beautiful I still have it.its timeless a classic just like you are Mr. RALPH.

What a spectacular documentary. I had a crush on Ralph because he was so handsome! I still wear his scarves, my classic fit pique polo white shirt with my jeans and my guys' polo shirts.

I love and still occasionally wear RL Romance perfume and lotion sets.

I love Ralph Lauren and still do, I remember when Kendals in Manchester got a concession of Ralph Lauren and I was obsessed and bought as much as I could circa 1985.
Today I'm more choosy when I buy Ralph, I want more vintage and odd pieces, rather than anything saturated and common.
I love the history of Ralph and I'm always amazed how he sold us Brits clothing we already had just with a new twist.
