I remember when I was 13 I was with my godfather in Miami and we were leaving the store and found one of these in a sand gold color, the owner came out and we asked him if I could sit in it and I even got to turn it on and rev it, will always remember ❤

I WAS WORKING WITH A CAR BUDDY IN TAMPA AND I GOT TO DRIVE ONE OF THE EARLIER 5.7'S. IT WAS BLACK AND HAD BLACK/TAN INTERIOR. I DROVE LIKE GRANNY AND NO MORE THEN 4/10'S BUT IT REALLY SEEMED TO REV EFFORTLESSLY AS THE RPMS INCREASED. BUT THAT 348 CU.INCH. V12 INDUCTION NOISE..SOOO GOOD !!.I WAS QUITE SUPRISED EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP AROUND A BUNCH OF ENTHUSIASTS CARS, FACTORY AND MODIFIED. SUCH A UNIQUE ENGINE LAYOUT, IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS.

I'd love to see a GT with a full headers back X pipe exhaust system along with any induction (any) restrictions and tuned for e85 would put out. Also. does the GT have those funny throttle bodies where the air is draw in through a small hole and at a certain throttle position the air is then pulled through the large and small opening in the throttle bodies. Being a gear head, I can help to think of the hp loss of this design, but I understand the reason for it. with todays technology we have the ability to tune around for abrupt tip in feel and power. I saw 2 dynos of custom headers on Diablos in the past and the resuts were shocking...I cant help to dream of owning a fully Dialed in GT....Sheeettt I'd be the crazy guy to convert it to a 6spd
