This is actually the sound of an AC unit, complete with the little mechanical noises, oscillation and compressor sounds. Thank you for taking the time to record this and not just slapping together a new soundboard mix and calling it AC Noise (Talkin' to you Relaxing White Noise.)

When i was a teenager, my best friend Mark and I would work on my parents farm all summer. My mom and dad had this huge air conditioner upstairs in their house and Mark and I would sleep right under it in our sleeping bags. We would stay up half the night whispering and laughing and enjoying the ice cold air after throwing 90 pound wire hay bales all day in the hot july sun and up into the hay loft. Every time I get stressed out, I turn this on and shut my eyes and go back to when this world wasnt so crazy and life was so much simpler. 😁

Reminds me of the fan in holiday inn or those other hotels when i flew over with my dad when i was 6 and 8 years old to visit my granny and grandpa in texas. God i miss those days. Pure, happy, sunny, hot texas nostalgia

Okay so my sister wanted to turn the ac on and i was like “heck nooo it’s cold” so we started going back and forth on no and yes but the only reason she wanted it on cuz of the noise she can’t sleep without it!! So I found this sound and she knocked right out and I was warm and knocked out aswell😂 thx for this vid!!💗

For some reason wherever I go I have to sleep with a wind sound, whether it’s ac or a fan. If it’s not there I seem to always wake up in the middle of the night and find it hard to sleep. The sound brings me to be very relaxed.
