Got my M50 around this time last year for my high school yearbook, amazing purchase. I’m blessed enough to have a wide selection of lenses I can rent from the school and the camera is just perfect for football and basketball photos

I always go back and watch this video when I need M50 inspiration. I'm glad it's still relevant in today's camera market. I own the Canon 22mm f2.0 and I really don't like it for shooting video. My go to is the 50mm.

i am a M6ii user. M6 is definitely a great camera with that compact config. The only problem with eos-m is as you go down the way with more ef-m lens invested in, you start to get unsatisfied and want to get better lens. However there is no option out there, even if you upgrade within canon, all your lens bought would not be usable in RF mount.

Bought a slightly used M50 for 350€ a few weeks back, instead of a brand new mark II for double that price. Got also the Canon 55-200 mm lens. Could not be happier with my choice. Doing lots of sports photography with it and for that price this camera is mindblowingly good. Now that the summer is here, I can’t wait to take it out in the nature with me.

Great content, enjoyable to watch. I totally agree, the m50 is a great little camera, I’ve had one for last few years and every time I think about upgrading I look at the pics & footage I get from it and decide to buy a new additional lens instead - build my EF & S lens range for eventual upgrade later. Also rave about the 22mm, great for 1:1 close range interviews and basically an awesome image quality 35mm with f2. Question, what frame rate did you shoot your slow motion on, it looks super sharp/ nice?

That intro though... I own an M50, been my main camera for a couple years, but as much as I like it I think I've reached the edges of it's limitation and it's time for me to switch to something else
